The Range Terms of Service
Online Booking Policy
Pre-payment is required when making a booking at The Range at Country Club via the online booking platform. Driving Range Bay bookings are for a maximum of 6 players per bay. If your booking exceeds 6 players, you will need to book an additional bay. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate any requests for preferred bays we cannot guarantee requests for specific bays. Balls are only to be used in your designated bay(s). If found that you are using other bays not paid for, this may result in your booking being cancelled.
Bookings of 19 customers or above require a group booking; an enquiry can be submitted through the website, alternatively you can contact The Range at Country Club (call 03 6335 5888).
Each Driving Range Bay booking includes rental clubs, unlimited range balls (to be used only in the purchased bay/s), dedicated seating and Toptracer access.
Cash payments: Cash payment for bookings are only available in person at the venue on the day of the event.
Gift Cards & Promotional Vouchers : Please call or visit The Range at Country Club (03 63355 888) to book, as online reservations are not available using gift cards or vouchers.
Cancellation: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking, you may do so online through the ‘manage my booking’ link in your confirmation email or SMS up to 24 hours prior to your event time for a full refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours or no shows will result in a full loss of payment.
Wet Weather: Please be aware the Mini Golf and the Driving Range is an outdoor venue and will operate in sunshine or rain.
Group & Event Booking Policy
Group & Events: This Group & Event Booking Policy apply to groups of 19 customers or above in number.
Confirmation: A Group or Event booking at The Range at Country Club is confirmed by either:
Full pre-payment or deposit payment with credit card through our secure PAYLINK link system within 24 hours of receiving the PAYLINK link. Please note additional credit card charges may be applied.
Payment via EFT to our nominated bank account within 5 days upon receiving an invoice from us.
Final Numbers: Notification of a guaranteed final number of customers attending and food requirements is required five days (5) prior to the event date which form the basis for final payment equal to the total estimated charges. There are no refunds once final numbers are confirmed and paid for even if there is a reduction in final numbers on the day of the event.
Final Payment: Payment of the remaining amount of the booking is required 48 hours prior to the booking date. The Range at Country Club accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Electronic Funds Transfer or via Cash (only accepted in venue). Please note additional credit card charges may be applied. Any further charges including bar tabs are payable at the conclusion of the booking. The customer or company booking the event is liable for payment of all charges associated with the booking.
In the event the customer or company does not provide The Range at Country Club with final payment by the required date (48 hours prior to the booking), The Range at Country Club may either cancel the booking and/or release any held space that has not been paid for with forfeiture of any monies paid to date.
Cancellation: In the regrettable situation that a customer cancels the booking, written notification is required to therange@countryclubtasmania.com.au at least five days (5) prior to the event to receive a full refund of amounts paid or transfer of the booking to a future date, subject to availability. Cancellations less than 48 hours of the booking time or no shows will result in forfeiture of any monies paid to date.
Exclusive use events: The Range at Country Club reserves the right to apply minimum spend for exclusive use Group and Event bookings as outlined in the pricing on The Range website at the time of booking. Any food, beverages or play contribute towards reaching your minimum spend. If the minimum spend quoted is not met, the difference will be payable at the conclusion of your event.
Wet Weather rescheduling: Please be aware the Mini Golf and the Driving Range is anoutdoor venue and will operate in sunshine or rain. In the event where an extreme weather event is forecasted which may create unsafe conditions, please contact us as early as possible to discuss options. If the booking does not proceed due to weather, as agreed by both parties, we will either reschedule the booking to another time or refund the amounts already paid.
Additional Charges: Any goods or services provided on the day that are not included in the customer’s booking must be paid for at the conclusion of the event booking (i.e. bar tabs, extra play). Dietary requirements: For dietary requirements and allergy concerns, please discuss your requirements with our team when placing your order. Our menus contain many food allergens and intolerances. All food items are prepared in the same kitchen, handling ingredients made from wheat, cereals containing gluten, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, crustaceans, fish, sesame seeds, eggs, soybeans and lupins. Whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate individual dietary needs, we cannot guarantee our food will be 100% allergen free. Selected dishes can be prepared without the addition of wheat, gluten or dairy, however, we cannot guarantee traces will not remain. Please do not hesitate to alert our staff to any specific dietary requirements.

Event Running Order: The Range at Country Club management reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to alter the running order to best facilitate the booking on the day. Should the customer wish to make any changes to the running order of the booking, The Range at Country Club requires these to be communicated at least five (5) working days prior to the booking. If customers are running late for the agreed start time of their booking, The Range at Country Club reserves the right to adjust the event’s running order to honour pre-existing bookings.
Decorations and Equipment: Decorations will need to be approved by the management at The Range at Country Club before the date of the booking. No signage or display material is to be nailed, screwed, stapled or adhered to any surface of the venue (see ‘Damages’). If you have arranged for an external company to set up decorations within the booked space, please have them contact the management to arrange suitable times for set up and pack down. All decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the booking, unless otherwise agreed. The Range at Country Club will not be liable for any loss incurred to equipment or decorations brought to the venue for set up.
Suppliers: If your booking is using third party suppliers (including: entertainment, equipment, etc) they must, prior to being allowed on premises, be enrolled in the Rapid Contractor System (inducted) and provide The Range at Country Club with evidence of this.
Additional Security: If you require additional or specific services tailored to your booking; dedicated security guards are available at an hourly rate. Please discuss your needs with us when making your booking.
General Terms and Conditions of
Use for all bookings
Underage Customers: The Range at County Club is an all-ages fully licensed venue and valid proof of age may be requested from any persons we believe may be under the age of 25. Customers under the age of 12 require adult supervision at all times whilst at The Range at Country Club. No refunds will be given for pre-purchased alcoholic beverages, or exceptions made for failure to provide valid proof of age identification upon request.
Damages: Customers will be liable for and charged for any repairs, labour or replacements as deemed necessary by management in the event of any damages to The Range at Country Club property during or after the booking by any customers attending, or suppliers engaged by the customer.
Customer Equipment and Responsibility: Customers are welcome to use their own clubs and other golf equipment at The Range at Country Club. The Range at Country Club is not liable and accepts no responsibility for the damage or loss of any customer property, goods or equipment; including customer golf clubs, brought to or left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking.
Security: To ensure safety and integrity of The Range at Country Club premises and to manage general customer behaviour security personnel may be present at bookings. This is a standard measure to protect our venue and ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
Responsible Service of Alcohol: The Range at Country Club follows the national guidelines on the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). The Range at Country Club staff members are instructed not to serve any alcoholic beverages to customers under the age of eighteen (18) years or to customers in a state of intoxication. Food is available for purchase at The Range at Country Club. The right to discontinue liquor service is reserved by The Range at Country Club.
Unforeseen Circumstances: If The Range at Country Club is unable to comply with any of the provisions of this Agreement by interruption of electricity or gas supplies, industrial disputes, plant or equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstance or accident, your booking may be refunded or rescheduled, subject to availability. The Range at Country Club will not be liable for any loss suffered due to this change in your booking.
Food & Beverage: No BYO Food or Beverage is permitted on the premises of The Range at Country Club. As we are a fully catered and licenced venue, it is The Range at Country Club policy that food and beverage cannot be brought onto the premises (other than pre-arranged Birthday Cakes (which may include a cakeage fee).
Safety: For the safety of all customers, offensive behaviour and/or indecent language; behaviour deemed dangerous to others will result in the customer being removed from The Range at Country Club premises and no refunds will be given as a result. In an event of an emergency please follow direction of The Range at Country Club team.
Pets: Whilst we love your furry friends, unfortunately for the safety & hygiene of all of our patrons we are a strictly no pet facility. Service dogs are exempt
